I finally got the computer to work here at home. It rocks. I had messed up the drivers or something so I had to uninstall then reinstall. I'm pretty good for someone who doesn't really know what he's doing.

probably has something to do with the time i showed up there on an-acid-like-drug and just sat in a chair staring at the carpet for a few hours.
