Hmm, I may be able to help with the pooch situation. I do a little bit of rescue work.

One thing you can do as a start is list him on Petfinder. If you can tell me about him some - breed (or lack thereof), age, size, when he was vetted, is he fixed, ... - I can talk to some of the people I know that provide foster homes.

i managed to rescue my dog from the horror that is the animal ahelter.. but now i am left with the issue of finding him a new home. anyone need a dog? hes really sweet and very loving.i cant get my dad to budge on keeping him, so i have to find a place for him A.S.A.P.

I am so bored i could cry. Everything has started to suck. Badly.. all my friends have moved or married or have kids. so lately i do a whole lot of staring at my computer screen.at least the day wasnt a total waste.i saved my dog from the shelter. Its fairly heartless that my father took him while i was gone for the day.great christmas...

Sorry to read about your woes. That's really f**ked up to take somebody's (let alone your kid's) dog to the pound. Hope the New Year reverses the trend (despite it just being some arbitrarily selected day).
