Well, I have reentered the workforce to little or no apparent effect.
I had to take an unscheduled day off to get the car repaired after the trek to the alma mater.
About $750 later, I have my car back, and it's got not only a new exhaust, but new brakes and a mouse nest cleaned out of the air conditioner.
I suppose I better keep working and pay this off.
