Yeah, painting it was a pain, but I love the results.
I painted it with 2 coats of the actual color and let it dry overnight. Then I taped off 10" stripes with 10" between each one, and painted every other one with a clear coat sealer. Be sure to take the tape off pretty quickly or else it will rip off the solid color!!

The burlesque is going to be embarrassing. I have no experience, I can't practice properly, and I know I'm going ot make a tit of myself, PLUS my friends are all coming down, and don't yet know that I'll be dancing.
On the other hand, it'll be fun, I have the satisfaction in knowing I made my (slightly crappy) costume all by myself, it can only get better

Predator is pretty um... crap, but it is entertaining in its crapness. Isn't that the one where the guy's arm gets severed and keeps on shooting the gun? I loved that when I was 10.

I had lunch with an acquaintance of a family member yesterday, and we really had a great time.
Sometimes friendship is there all along, and you never knew it.
Also, I continue to be courted with wads of cash. There is some principle involved, and some stupid-ass scutwork, plus some serious career changing.
But it sure is interesting.
