The protest was one of the most fun things I have ever done.
I was so glad to actually come into contact with intelligent people.
And Morgan and Nathalia started the best chant ever.
Also, I BURNED MY FIRST FLAG!
hahaha. It was the greatest thing I have ever done. But according to the pro-war/anti-protesters/fascist assholes, I am going to burn in hell. But so are they! Because they fucking want people to die!
I really don't understand how people can be pro-war. And don't give me that "oh, we're pro troops". Almost everyone is fuckin pro-troops.
We were walking through the pro war rally, and we didn't even say anything...we just stood there, and they started screaming at us to go get jobs and stop being wannabe hippies. Then the police ran over and escorted us out. While they could stand in the middle of our rally with signs and megaphones.
Anyways, in case you didn't hear (since the media doesn't give a fuck) we had 300,000 people.
Boo yah.

I'm thrilled to hear about your experiences at the rally! Good, good for you! Of course we've been tromping around the British Isles for 2 weeks. There was a simultaneous rally in London and several other cities while we were there. We had left London before hand but we did see the vigil - which has been going on for months, I think - across the street from the Houses of Parliament. It sounds like they may be close to victory over there, at least a limited victory. I'm told that Blair may be working on a time table for withdrawal of the Brit troops. If he has any political sense, he will. The UK has become heavily anti-war. Anyway, I'm glad to hear a first hand account, and glad you didn't get bopped with a club!

Sweet! I sincerely hope for all of humanity that the people of the USA get their act together and get rid of the demon seed. They should also seize all the money he and his family have earned since he's been in office. Seeing Georgey boy panhandling on CNN would be Saweeeeeeeet!
