Brian Eno - back in judy's jungle
hello. i just finished my three page paper at five and a half and will now have a celebratory drink. Jen and i went to the amana colonies last weekend, just outside of IC, and bought some wine. it is pretty cheap (7/bottle) and really good. plum, raspberry, etc, all the flavors of jellies and such. a blackberry wine, where have you been all my life? nothing beats showing up to class with that slight buzz from wine, ha. other than that. after the film last night (john waters' female trouble) we watched most of eXistenZ and i distinctly remember getting high and playing the first Public Image LTD. album really loud. "rise" is a great song, but that one was on the radio, so i should go with something more obscure or "side B" haha.
anyway, it looks nice out, but i am sure it is only about 35. the show at the green room sat, damon dotson. not really looking forward to the music....at all. though a friend of mine will be playing guitar at this show and i haven't seen him since...a while back. i am sure there will be lots of Frodo hair cuts and pookah shell necklaces.
i need to go get my camera. i will do this today. i have put it off for about a week and i figure those pictuers aren't getting any more topical. this should be a good weekend. tomorrow i work 10-6 and then will probably go out, though last time i did my friend ended up having the worst of it, i think. well, some solo drinking is never a problem, heh. speaking of which, this wine will not drink itself....or will it....

alright. someone out there play me some DEVO or Brian Eno real loud Saturday night to appease the light rock stylings that i will be bombarded with at the show. thanks in advance.
