Hi all was thinking of doing a regular blog called 'Monday Moan' as i am a grumpy old man with lots to moan about. If too many of you get fed up with this i may stop or just write a blog moaning about it. Some like todays will be serious moans but othere will be more light hearted 🤣🤣

First moan is how a man is often judged by the Job he does, the car he drives, the house he owns etc. If a man does not work, lives alone or god forbid with his parents, and doesnt have a car then he is often refered to as a 'bum' 'waster' and my least favorite 'scrub ' 😠 one of my fave band TLC do a really catchy song called 'scrub' but the lyrics really annoy me with like '

If you don't have a car and you're walking

Oh yes son, I'm talking to you

Wanna get me with no money

As most of you know i am disabled, unable to work, unable to drive , live with my parents and live on benefits but still consider myself a 'real' man and not a 'scrub'! Yes if a man chooses not to work when he is able, can drive but relieson others, lives with parents because he likes being mothered then he can be discribed as a 'Scrub' !! I hate going to a socail gathering and being asked what do is your job?, what car you got? Etc as these things do not define me! When i worked, had a wife, rented a nice house and rode a moped i was not happy as i was in a marraige with someone i was not in love with and who lied and cheated, was belittled at work ☹

Now i am unable to work due to my health but would gladly swap the constant pain for a 60 hour week, live with my parents as it is easier and like spending time with them but still have my independence, i am single but do get lonely and still believe i will one day find miss or mister right and fall in love!! My worth as a man shoukd not be judged by material things such as job, car etc.
