I believe it is important to respect people and how they desire to be referred to. I was going to say choose to but people don't choose who they are!! i believe words can take on a gender through time and colloquial use. how ships often have the female gender applied. in my mind the word beautiful has a feminine connotation. the same way you might not call a young lady handsome. personally,it takes a lot to offend me, and being called beautiful certainly wouldn't do the trick. but in my life,i do not think i have ever once been called beautiful. unique is a better descriptor.
I thought instead of Monday Moan like I Have done before I would do something a bit more uplifting and positive!! Yes i know me being positive is a novelty 🤣🤣

I've been off the site for almost a decade, and upon returning , i found a couple dozen people that i interact with in the groups have me blocked. i can only assume this is based on what they may have been told by someone with whom i had a less than eventful relationship.this site can be a great resource for social interactions, and on the flip side, gossip. its not something i would seek out the source of. sometimes people aren't familiar with the block feature and do it by accident, other times people see me and remember that thing i said twenty years ago. either way, continue to be yourself, be a gentleman and you will persevere. also i always take comfort in remembering that the people that have me blocked went through he trouble to come to my page to do so, and most likely lurk it regularly. after all it only means you can't message them or like their posts, its nothing of any consequence
