I hope I am not speaking too soon but some more of the drama is lifting. Another problem child quit tonight. I love the guy but he wasn't happy there. An old chef friend of mine taught me: You help 'em stay... or you help 'em go.

Our problem child just quit, too. Yet another recent culinary school grad with a bad attitude that thinks he knows it all already. Hope your kitchen is back to normal soon.

My mom came to visit and it was an interesting 24 hours. We caught up and tried to re-connect. She seems sorta fragile. She hasn't been to vegas in about 8 years and was surprised by the growth. Vegas in a word: "NEXT"
