Went to the Eiffel Tower Restaurant in the Paris hotel last night and had yet another one of the best meals of my life. They served four amuse bouches before they brought our first course. Escargot, then asparagus soup with fried tarragon and a crawfish cake. Then Tournados Rossini with truffle sauce and a chocolate souffle for dessert. I had a gift certificate that helped defray the cost but I don't mind spending good money on good food. I hate spending any money on lousy food. I'm pretty easy to please though. Not easy to impress. I was impressed last night!
