It turns out I really didn't get sick. I may be building up a resistance to those tainted carrots.

I just got back from seeing my roommate's funk band play at the el macombo. They were really excellent and I'm not just saying that because good word of mouth makes it easier for him to pay rent.

On a worser note, ants have invaded my bathroom. Yeah, that's right bathroom. Why wouldn't they invade the kitchen where there is at least the hope of food? I think they're coming from the place next door's kitchen, through the little hole in our floor where the caulking is torn away and the floor doesn't quite meet the wall. (As I write this, I realize what a hole I live in).I've put some traps out and I think I've got most of them, but it's always upsetting to take life, even insect life.

What do ipods, aspirin, kleenex and whiteout have in common?
