Can I just say how much PIXIES do not suck and how their show was neat last night?
Getting home was bad news, though. First of all I checked my coat without taking into account that 9000 tickets had been sold (although only 8997 were used, as my friend bailed at the last minute and Superflea was apparently unable to attend), but only 4 coat checking staff had been hired.
Then when I was finally handed my coat and got out there was tons of freezing rain. This was in the middle of Mississauga, far far from where I live. I waited for the next bus along with a huge crowd of concertgoers, but the first that came was already full and the next one filled up before I could get on. At this point, I jumped a cab that someone else had had the foresight to call 20 minutes earlier, and got a ride home.
Word of the day, of course, is PIXIES. Scrabble value is 15.

I remember I went to a concert with my little sister and we went to check out coats. It was a long line and my sister had spike braclets on. We checked our coats and then went to go in to the concert. The guy at the door into the concert hall told my sister she couldn't bring the braclets in and would have to go back and check them. It sucked so much for 2 reasons....1 the line was so long and 2 she bought the braclets for the concert!
