So I got a little promotion at work. Same work, longer title, slightly higher salary increase this year.

But to put things in perspective, when this woman was my age, she was a frickin' judge. I am such an underachiever. frown

That's true, there was some great stuff going on at that time, sadly if you didn't have acess to British music magazines or go to clubs in north west England there wasn't much chance of you finding out about it. (hence the lack of knowledge to most outside the UK).
I was to young for the clubs then, but I had Q and late night radio biggrin

I'm impressed. I bet a lot of British people haven't even heard of Neds Atomic Dustbin. Your comment about James reminded me of the fact I have Gold Mother on vinyl in a cupboard somewhere. No decks to play it on though confused
