I am "working" from "home" today. Not that anything that I do for that place much resembles 'work' (note: in the unlikely event that you are my boss, please stop reading this). Got to wake up one minute before work starts, grabbed my files and sat up in bed, and was a productive member of society without even really getting up! I seem to actually be working faster, as there are fewer distractions around me. Could get used to this...On the other hand, already miss work friends.

I read that the provincial government is thinking of retesting people for their drivers licenses every ten or so years. This is awful! I got my license out on the prairies, and haven't been behind the wheel of a car in five or so years. i would never pass a drivers test in this city. (Now, I'm not stupid enough to actually get behind the wheel of a car in Toronto, but I like having a valid drivers license for identification purposes). Seriously, drivers here are crazy. And there are people who actually ride bikes with no helmets - that will never cease to amaze me. it boggles the mind.
