At the behest of some friends last night I used their spare ticket to see Imogen Heap. I had only heard a few songs of hers on my friends car stereo before, but she was amazing live, in fact much better than on her CD. I'm now upset that she had to cancel as the opening act for a Tori show that I saw quite...

You should have seen/heard the life I was living in Athens, then you would understand, in the words of Depeche Mode "enjoy the silence."

That upset? Really?
I saw the Charlatans UK last night, 16 years after their biggest hit. Even though your average persons remembers only one song of theirs, if that, they actually have like ten albums. They were OK but very, very loud. During the opening act we amused ourselves by thinking of the most obscure "Madchester" song we could remember (winner: open up your mind" by the real...

I was pretty much perfect in the first Logic course. But this one got more advanced. Instead of just working with the proof rules, we had to prove semantically that the rules themselves were sound and complete. That part really gave me trouble, but luckily, it wasn't worth as many points on the final.

Well at least you have the balls to do it.

Well, I'm sort of an amateur. No, wait, completely an amateur. So, I got a "starter pack" that had an Ibanez acoustic and some accessories. My entire repertoire includes a whole, like, three songs. But I'm planning on becoming ridiculously famous someday as the latest-starting guitar player ever to be in a band.
I'm really keeping my fingers crossed for this one, though. I know, I'm such a girl!
Edit: And a 12-string? That's so awesome!

Historians often debate exactly how influential Dholokov was on his good friend, Herman Melville. Although in recent years most scholars have come to agree that he did not write large portions of Moby-Dick and Billy Bludd, as previously asumed, many now accept that, at the very least, Dholokov inspired the creation of Queequeg, hsi role in Melville's life similar to that of Queequeq's to Ishmael.
Dear old room-mate,
I quite like you and it is a shame that you had to move out. you were a little bit messy and had a lot of loud friends over, but I could easily overlook that because you were a fun guy.
And it's perfectly OK for you to leave some of your stuff in the room and come to get it later...

Being russian and being commie are the same thing? Shouldn't the commies still be in control there then?
So I took the new job, but I kept the old one too. I now work about 6+ days a week. And the new job is stupid and doesn't pay very well and I have no idea what I am doing. AND THERE IS NO COFFEE.
So things are going slowly. I will therefore do that "7 things" exercise in small stages. By the time...

It was all the same teacher. I'm not sure but I think he would have caught on.
Weeknd update: I got a new job offer and may accept it. More news later.
Regarding this 1000th SG thing, I think it should be a big multi-new girl set, introducing six or seven new girls. It's theme and subject matter should be 'dholokhov sandwich'.
Thank you all for the birthday wishes. I will have a real update when I can think of seven things...

The years are rolling by me now
They are rocking even me
I am older than I once was
I am younger than I will be
That's not unusual
It was this or that Five hundred twenty five thousand, six hundred minutes song from RENT. You're lucky - this year!

I've never even met a girl willing to watch an episode of Buffy with me. They all hate it instantly, won't even give it a chance.
Or maybe it has to do with the fact that I always insist we watch it at my place, nude. Hmm.

hey I don't mind it looking spray painted on. If you're unhappy with it and you know a better way then go ahead. You know what you're doing more then me. So why don't you just do it the best way you think and I'm sure I'll be happy with it.
Fixed th washing machine. Or at least I think I did - haven't tried it yet. I am the KING of large appliances.

There seems to be a bidding war over nemesis-hood. What can you bring to the table?

Hahaha I bet it does - I'm a real wuss when it comes to the cold though. I like to be toasty and I get quite sad when it's too cold. I like cold crispy weather lots, but only if I'm happily bundled up in a million layers.
I am the king of fixing doors with screwdrivers. Yes.

Before going to bed tonight, I would like to accomplish the following:
-finish work project
Update: Done
-make ticket design for work's pancake breakfast and have several copies printed
Update: Done, but put the wrong date on it (there will be no Wednesday Mar 9, 2006, which makes me kind of sad). I like the way my pancakes turned out. Believe it or not, there...

Coolest thing I own? Labrynth soundtrack on vinyl.
