Hello lovies!
It's Saturday, and for me, a very relaxing one. I've been playing guitar most of the day.
I learned 3 Libras by A Perfect Circle, when I get a bit better I'll make a video of me playing a couple songs so you all can see how I'm coming along.
Not much else is going on as of now, but an interesting happening took place this morning. I took the bus downtown so I could pick up some strings for my cello, Gladys. I live about twenty miles from downtown so the bus ride takes about an hour.
I'm listening to my ipod and I see a middle aged woman come on the bus with a little cooler. She was dressed business professional so it was kinda odd for her to be carrying one.
About fifteen minutes later a gentleman gets on the bus carrying a jug of juice (I can only assume) and some cups.
The man and the woman stand next to each other for a few minutes before they started having a conversation. I didn't get most of it because it was in Spanish, and though I try I'm no so good at the Spanish.
They start sharing Juice! The man pours, and proceeds to spill drink and cups on the floor. They are laughing and carrying on and the woman takes out a sandwich and gives half to him.
They are chatting and flirting, and having a mother fucking picnic on this mother fucking bus.
Then the man gets off of the bus ALONE and the woman goes back to staring out the window. As if nothing happened. As if there was not a surprise picnic she just took part in.
I got off the bus and the woman was still waiting for her stop.
Did they plan this? Or was it just completely spontaneous. Did the woman say, "Well, he has cups, and I have a sandwich, this could work out." Do they do it everyday? Maybe this is the only time in their busy weeks that they can see each other, and they have to settle for sweet summer picnics on a city bus.
The possibilities! I kind of want to ride the bus tomorrow and see if our lovers will meet again! Or maybe they had a mutual understanding that this bus picnic was as far as their relationship would go.
It was pretty neat.

Wow! Now that's fate knocking! I mean, I understand if perhaps it IS a planned event between two old friends, but otherwise I don't understand letting such an opportunity pass, such a story go unwritten before it could get much farther than the start. Life is full of sorrow, pain, sadness, and just plain piles of bullshit, and just as we feel it all caving in upon us, moments like the one you've described, at least from my perspective, are our saving grace, making all of it worthwhile as the things that bring us down wash away in the strong tides of passion, bliss and love. If they were merely strangers and I was that very man, I would've rode that bus the same time, every fuckin' day if possible, just for a chance to embrace the bone fate threw me...but of course, this is simply the kinda' shit I think about, and others may not see it from the same perspective.
