you know...my stepdad is a really great guy. in a lot of ways he is better than my real dad. but he only goes that extra length to talk to me when he wants something. last night when i came home from work doing and open to close, he asked if he could come over since he has never seen the apartment. i say sure i will have spaghetti ready in a little while. but the first chance he gets he asks for "a few bucks". i know i am doing well for myself but i don't have the extra money to throw around. and he stills owes me from 6 months ago. he is 38 tho and i am 19, i know you can have bad times but i just think that by that age even if i was laid off or blah blah i would get my shit together and find something else. and it is hard, it took me forever to find a second job. but i did it. and you know what i think he has a fulltime job. didn't think of that. i hope in the future i am a lot better off than my family. not just with money but with happiness.
