Tonight marks the passing of another year, symbolic of change, evolution, resolutions. 2009 was epic, lots of self discovery and the establishment of new personal foundations. there's a lot of work to do inside this brain, house cleaning...organizing, rearrangements.

I'm grateful for the events that have occured in my life thus far; the scars, the memories, the accomplishments that led to this point. There have been a handful of people who are very good to me, and I'm learning ways to better show my gratitude and expand upon that positivity, striving to fortify those bonds.

At the same time I'm more conscious of the deceivingly destructive forces in my life and am actively seeking to break those bonds. A feat not easily accomplished but part of what needs to be done over the next several months.

As a side note, a message to the person who gave me this account as a gift: Thank you. If you're the person I think you are, I know that you're paying attention and I really appreciate that. I wish I could handle...this situation in a different way and though intentions are all positive on both sides it's gonna take some time and wall breaking to make it happen, if only on a purely friendly basis.
