"You've come to see how a true bad man plies his trade?"
Well I am long overdue with updating my journal entries. and as the lovely hotcurry has requested that I do so more often, I have decided to take time out from my life of loitering in order to do so. Actually, if the truth be told, I have had no access to my computer since the evening of the 23rd. horror of horrors. In addition, the week leading up to my cyber-umbilical severing had been quite chaotic. So I will hurredly do a sum up of the Highs and Lows of the last two weeks or so.
The 16th: a highly eventful day which was witness to my (ex) stepdad leaving for his winter sojourn in Baja, my "uncle" "Pops" coming up to visit for a full 24hrs (god I love my surrogate father figures), and last but not least in meeting (er..seeing?) the woman that I want to grow up and marry. For further details on this last bit, see my favorite bands section in my profile and try to spot the new one on the list.
The 24th I went down to Sac to visit my family (grandparents et al) and then on Friday I jetted over to the East Bay for a couple of days for a much needed Bay Area fix...which, after being there for less than 4 hrs convinced me to put my all into moving back there asap. Saturday was spent making my rounds of the old neighborhoods, the highlights of which being the serendipitous catching of a 20% off holiday sale at my favorite comic book store in Berkeley (at which I spent far too much money, but in the process continued my education in the "popular" arts. I highly recommend Transmetropolitan and the newly penned Street Angel ), and running into an old and dear highschool friend with whom I had fallen out of contact with due to those ever meddlesome twins "time" and "life". But we have reunited, and will hopefully maintain better contact with one another from here on out.
The other great moment of the trip down south was the fact that I was able to run my dog several times in the parks, and she being quite the hottie attracts other hotties...i.e. she's femme-lodestone. I will attempt to post pics of her to demonstrate, so check out my pics section.
I also just logged on to find out that my group has been approved, so everybody go out and join the new Pacifist Activists group...if you are into that sort of thing.
There is probably a ton more for me to say, but once again I have been too lax to really expect any further attention from you dear readers, if in fact you have even managed to make it this far.
So until next time: "So long, and thanks for all the fish"

Thanks so much for the kind words. The real sad thing is that the week before the stroke he had hip replacement surgery. It's just too much all at once. I'm not sure how much fight he has left in him. My grandmother who is around the same age sprung back almost immediately from a rather bad stroke. Even the doctors were amazed. I hoping for the best though.
