I'll suggest this, just because I wish I found it at the end of my last relationship (as opposed to last week.) I don't know if you believe in self help tapes or books, (I know I usually don't) but I think that could've actually helped me.
And if you aren't interested in that, my only advice would be to avoid contact with the other person. Anytime I started to feel better, my old girlfriend would contact me through email or IM, which would bring me down again.
