I'm sure you've worked it all out by now, not having kids, I don't really have any idea! But I would say that if you find things they love doing together, and with you, then they will be (probably) less likely misbehave.
Don't know how old they are though, so thats the limit to my (uninformed and unexperienced) suggestion.
