I am SO glad the Bell Jar didn't end badly.

well I wasn't counting post novel.. but if she had died in the book I didn't know what I was going to do.
The thought of you doing karate is of some strange comfort though

I was just about to say what Marla said. Small wonder. It's probably my favourite book, really. In a comfortable sort of way. Like mashed potatoes, but a book. I understand it. She didn't die in the book, but you know, she did, and the book doesn't say she didn't somewhere after the last page. I would too. Gas ovens sound like nice pillows some days.
