Back in SoCal, and finally got a break in the work, AND found a computer to borrow. Unfortunately I can't get to my e-mail at cox.net. Don't know why. Tried it on a couple different machines. I really hate those cox fuckers! Tryin to hook up a friend with a car has been frustrating. Yet another asshole guy makin it harder for good guys, like me, to be trusted by any good women. This prick (my friend's ex) works on films, so he's got plenty of $$. They had a kid, they broke up when jr was about 6months, she's got the kid, but he's got the car!? She can't even get the dick to help her out with the $$ for this $1500. honda I found for her. AAaaarrrrggghhh! ".......heck, you even gotta have a license to catch a fish, but any butt-reaming asshole can be a father." It just pisses me off that all of the great women seem to always end up with these extreme dickheads! Then shit goes way bad! Then every good, honest, caring guy afterwards doesn't stand a chance 'cause now she won't trust anyone. Especially someone who really IS a good guy! 'There's gotta be something wrong with him, right? No guy is this honest, considerate and attentive.....any minute now he's gonna turn, just like that last asshole.' Sorry to rant. It's just that as long as I can remember, I've been tryin to figure out why all the great women go out with such jerks. No self-esteem? Attracted to the alpha?....whether or not he's a creep? Ha! The same friend just told me her alpha theory (which is kinda long, so I won't go into it unless you ask). The funny part is that she said women are attracted to me because of my alpha-ness, or whatever, and then I lose 'em when I open my mouth, and they see that I'm a nice guy! What the fuck!? Anyway........had a great day off (except some company would've been nice)! Went hiking in the hills behind granny's house, picking fresh sage and watching the hawks flying around. (I sooo miss hearing that shriek - just before you see that giant wingspan go soaring by!!!) Thanx for listening. I'd love to hear anyone's theories on dating stuff. And why most folks seem to always make the wrong choices in mates. Or is it just that we, as humans, are just as clueless in dating as we are in most everything else? Gotta go.
