Okay, I've been outta touch lately, cause I've been takin care of business. Gettin pretty settled now - as much as can be. Since Lollapalooza canceled, this summer, I fell way behind in bills. Now I'm fully reestablished, in LA, for work...at least till the next tour. (Maybe Usher sometime in Oct.) I've been doin about a week in LA, then about 4 days here. This Sucks! But the bills are gettin caught up. Nice to be doin rock n roll again, after the past 3 years of big $$ conventions. The past few weeks have been filled with shows by Van Halen, Incubus, Gloria Estefan, Usher, Phil Collins, Dave Matthews, The Cure - plus Van Halen rehearsals, Bette Midler rehearsals, removing the musical 'Hairspray' from the Pantages - in LA, and Dave Chapell Live. Tomorrow I'll be in Long Beach, CA for Beastie Boys, followed by......get this.....Barry Manilow rehearsals! Yuk!! Unfortunately I missed the Ani shows here, and in Flagstaff! I really wanted to hear her in these few months before the elections!! Bummer. That's the biz. You always miss the stuff you really wanna see. I need someone - badly - to keep tabs on the house when I'm out! Just to stop in once in a while, keep water in the pool, and stuff like that. I wouldn't mind a roomie, as long as they're cool. I just don't wanna place an ad. I hate havin someone in my space that I don't vibe with. Or worse, someone I get along with that has no respect, or common courtesy. Well, that's all for now. For anybody who might actually read this, I'll be back in town on the 24th....I hope. I really wanna be here to catch the Sting/Annie Lennox show - and also the 'Right To Vote' tour, with Bonnie Raitt, Keb'Mo and others! Peace, Love and Good Ink!
