Darkest Day, Eternal Night
There are those who fear
the dark of night,
and only walk in the light.
to those who fear this dark night,
Scared to turn off the light,
but to those who know the truth of things
this dark night brings sweet dreams.
Once i was like this too. Scared
to dream of what is new,
feared I was of darkness light,
awake from sleep full of fright.
In dreams it chased me
this I fear
hurting those I held dear.
One night i did resolve to stand an fight the dark alone.
As i waited for my fear to come
instead came, one i love.
By night she came
she couldn't sleep.
Try as i might my love to keep,
i ended laying it at her feet.
And to those who know the tale now
know where my love do dwell.
Darkest Day, Eternal Night.

Needs some editing on tense , but w/e it's good for now.
