Two exact months sice I've been on here.
Time marches on eh?
So I've changed jobs and my mental health has inproved immeasureably. My garden is kicking ass. Sweetpeas are about 8 feet tall and overtaking the tree dahlia. Summer is fast approaching! I'm being sent to Chicago in July for a week of software training... I've never been to Chicago, so that should be a cultural adventure,. to say the least. I saw the best merinal collection I've ever seen in my life the other night... a serious world-class collection. I actually got all choked up at one point. Beautiful rocks do that to me... but this was incredible. Pieces I've seen in magazines, stones that will end up in museums, so very gorgeous and perfect.
So, today is my pal's birthday! He has a great party every year. He's brewed mead, brought in oysters and a salmon to bbq. We're setting up the decks and PA in his back yard, and he's setting up the stocks and breaking out the floggers. Chocolate cake to follow. I'm going for smoove and beats today, Barry White and Mick Harris, African drumming and ... I'll have to think of what, something ambient and tonal, hmmmm. Only on my first cuppa coffee, I still have records to pull.
So what have you all been up to?
ed: I must note that KALX is the best freakin radio station on the planet. Sunday mornings are as they should be when Billy Jam is in the house. If you can't pick up the signal, listen online, keep it fresh.
OKOK. KFJC rocks my world on Sunday afternoons. I can't do without the dubstyles on a slow Sunday.
