wow, i just finished watching "thirteen"... there are very few movies that make me emotional... and this is one of them... given other circumstances, if i would have watched it, it would have been like any other movie... it scared the shit out of me...
i kept glancing over at my 19 month old daughter... so innocent, so sweet.... but will soon grow to be a teenager...
i see how my life was before i got pregnant, and it scares me even more... i know i can never fully protect her from everything in the world.. and i know someday she will be exposed to those things i used to do... my parents say when they see her that she is my clone... everything she does is exactly like me... and that scares me even more...
its so weird how one movie can play with emotions so much... i know others who have seen this movie just see it as a movie and nothing more... those who have children, espeically daughters, know where im coming from- and especially those who can relate to almost everything in the movie... its much more than just that...
