so a blog, eh? never though i'd have one and i probably won't keep up with it, but some of these groups on here won't let you play if you don't keep one so fuck it, here i am. as far as a purpose, i don't really feel like writing about what's going on in my life personally, maybe something on that topic will pop out from time to time, but for the most part i'm going to keep it on things i'm interested in... namely music, film, boxing, etc.
todays subject, the incredible film, "no retreat, no surrender". if you have never heard of it, you are probably a hell of lot younger than me and consider nirvana "classics". i believe it was jean claude van damme's first joint and he plays the bad guy who, thankfully, doesn't talk a lot (of course when he does, it's nothing less than stellar comedy). simple 80's plot: kid gets his butt kicked a lot, learns karate to fight back, blah blah blah. the dope thing about this one is that he gets schooled by the ghost of bruce lee. no joke. peep the youtube video:

doesn't have any "ghost of lee"/whiney kid scenes but it does have the final training montage, whiney kid beating up some "thugs" beating up on his dad, and breakdancing (yup, breakdancing).
so yeah, that's the first. hopefully after a few more of these i can go back to geeking out over hot chicks on here but until then... i will see you next time.
