I wish it would rain. The yard needs the water. But the real reason is that I want to have a bonfire. If I had one tonight, the yard would catch fire. 
We need to have a BBQ/bonfire soon. I've got the itch.
If I ever bitch about my job on here, I want everyone to remember that I actually like my job. It's the management that I often get frustrated with. But how many people can say, "today I made an accelerometer neutrally buoyant, measured the particle velocity of the water with it, then used a car audio amplifier to power an underwater sound transducer. And next week I'll be constructing a Helmholtz resonator to measure the mechanical resonance of a human lung while the human is immersed in water in a hyperbaric chamber." I like my toys.

there's no dress code on fridays. it's themed "rock and roll high school", in other words, another 80's night... but they play some 90's too.
