I like the new Death Cab For Cutie song, 'I'll Follow You Into The Dark'. Sad, and romantic, in a morbid sort of way. Got me thinking about the songs that I think are the most sad. I came up with:

'Tears in Heaven' - Eric Clapton
'Houdini's Box' - Jill Sobule
'Sally's Pigeons' - Cyndi Lauper
and 'Cedar Tree' - Indigo Girls.
