Damn I HATE spanish. I took 2 semesters of it in high school, then Spanish 1 & 2 in college. Spanish 2 I took during Maymester which means it was a 3 week course, every day for like 4 hours at a time. THAT was hell. But alas, I passed because I saw my teacher downtown drunk one night and we hung out. Not that that helps you, but I tend to ramble. Good luck though 
So I'm at the end of Neil Gaimen's "American Gods." I liked it, but I found the writing to be a bit lacking and the plot, though unique, interesting, and enjoyable, to be fairly predictable. I thought Gaimen strived for a level of depth he didn't quite pull off.

Yeah, Saves The Day are the shit (except that last album, which is shit). I saw them open for Snapcase and Buried Alive in Richmond, VA in 2000. Weird show, they were a little out of their element but played well. Chris (the singer) got kicked in the head during the first song (Holly Hox, Forget Me Nots, one of my favs). He handled it maturely.

The last concert I went to involved a lot of standing politely.
Way back in the day, I almost had my face broken in the pit for an I Mother Earth concert. I literally got swept up off my feet (not crowd-surfing - just caught up in the rush of the pit) and thrown towards the stage, very nearly having a high-velocity run-in with the bassist's effects pedals, which in that brief moment all seemed to have been chosen for their size and sharp corners.
Good times.
