I fucking hate the cold. The fact that anyone could enjoy it blows my mind.
What I hate even more is the fact that, for some reason, my room decided to randomly begin keeping itself about ten degrees cooler than the rest of the apartment.
The cold tends to bring out my artistic side, which is to say that all I want to do is lay in bed, listen to music, read, and drink; but, failing that, just drinking will do.
It certainly does not make me want to study or go to class. Take, for instance, today, when we all skipped our classes and went to a pub in Underground.
I'm really looking forward to next semster. I'm taking Intro to Historical Research, History of western Philosophy, some creative writing fiction class, and Intermediate Spanish I. I'm going to be spending a lot of time in the library next semester. Awesome.
Oh, and this is funny as hell! My former roommate from the dorms freshamn year just sent me this message on AIM:
Scottie: ha dude, ive become a serious pothead
Scottie: ive even started buying
Scottie: haha my third or 4th time this week
Scottie: man, floyd is so amazing
Scottie: like
Scottie: dude, you just gotta hear it
Scottie: esp reggae floyd
Now, keep in mind that this kid comes from a firm evangelical, bible-thumping, rock and roll is the devil's music (seriosuly, he showed us videos of sermons) background. We did a lot to, erm, expand his horizons our freshman year (read: he saw a LOT of things he'd never seen before), but I never thought I'd see this day. Hilarious.
