Well, my cellphone is lost forever to the void, so I bought a new one yesterday. At least now I have a phone that gets reception.
Other than that, I spent the evening yesterday jamming with Tak and James at Tak's practice space in Cabbagetown. It was fun as hell; I haven't had the opportunity to play with other people for a long time.
Oh yeah, and I watched Jesus Christ: Vampire Hunter last night. It was awesome.

I've noticed that cities can have effects on people. Toronto makes people mean. At first, I wouldn't have believed it, except that it happened to me. I'm a really non-confrontational person, but after a drunk on a streetcar very rudely informed my friend and I that he felt our conversation (half a car back and in normal tones, I stress) was too loud for his taste, I nearly had to clamp my hand over my mouth to prevent the brewing "I think maybe you should just shut the fuck up, pal" from escaping. Now, being 6'3" and 200+ lbs means never having to say you're sorry - but that was eerily unlike me.
So maybe it is Toronto itself that is corrupting its resident drivers. Eerie.
What kind of cell did you get?
