Ok, so the last two days have been kind of crazy and eventful.

Last night Vladdic, Knifefight, and a few of our friends were hanging out and getting drunk, as usual. Suddenly, Vladdic decides that we should shave his head. Unfortunately for him, myself and my friends are bastards, so instead of completely shaving it we gave him a mullet. It's hilarious. Then we lost the shaver in the ensuing madness, so he had to go to work today with a mullet. HA!

As to the aforementioned ensuing madness, while I was drunk my friends Mike and Catie called me and asked if they could rash at my apartment. Then had been at a show in Macon all night. I agreed to have them over. After a few hours, we began wondering where the hell they were, so I called Catie back.
"Oh, we haven't left yet, we are still waiting on the bands, they are very drunk."
This is the point where I become confused. Apparently, earlier they had asked if the two bands they had seen that night could crash at my place, but I somehow missed that crucial part of the conversation.

Of course, after I finally realized what was going on, we realized that the old adage "the more the merrier" was quite relevant, and agreed to have the bands over, provided that they brought beer since we had run out.
A good time was had by all. If The Oval Portrait ever needs a place to stay, everyone should volunteer their residences because they are really cool guys, very grateful guests, and a badass band as well. Though I totally kicked all their asses at Halo.

This morning I was awoken way too friggin early by Catie and the tour manager of one of the bands. Goddamn early risers. Anyway, we bummed around here with the bands all day, and then Mike, Kyle, Catie and I ate chinese buffet.
I was busy drawing a good copy of the tattoo I planned on getting today. While I was doing this, Mike decided to look through my sketchbook. He found a bunch of drawings of Day of the Dead style skeletons I had done a while back, and his eyes found one in particular.
"Dude, I'm going to get this as a tattoo today."
How rad is that? The kid blindly picks up my sketchbook and likes one of my designs enough to immediately get it tattooed on himself. Talk about a fucking ego boost. The count of people with my drawings for tattoos is now at 3 (myself not included), and two more are in the works. Crazy. I was actually more excited about Mike's than my own.

Anyway, so we ended up going to Timeless Tattoos, which is about two miles down Cheshire Bridge from my apartment, because we were too lazy to drive to Athens. I am quite happy with htis decision, because the artist Mike and I both had (Ryan, if you are interested) is amazing. Both of ours turned out so well it's ridiculous. I should have pictures tomorrow. I got a revolver under my right arm, if anyone didn't know.

Oh yeah, and I ran into Optimistress at Timeless, which was awesome. Yay for internet friends! Even if they spoil everyone's appetites by describing grotesquely disfigured animals. wink

Anyway, I'm headed to bed now, because I have gotten little sleep in the maelstrom of insanity that has been my week so far.

Edited for clarity: when I said Day of the Dead, I meant El Dia de los Muertos, the Mexican holiday, NOT George Romero's lamest zombie movie.
