Tonight I went and saw my friends in A Small Victory play at the masquerade. They played well, as usual. There was a LARGE group of high school kids in the front row, singing along to every word. This is bizzare because I've known this band for a while and I've seen them play in basements and clubhouses.
Also, the band that came on before ASV, the park, was awesome. They were an emo band, but emo in the old sense; think jawbox, not taking back sunday.
After the show we went to the taco cabana with Mark from ASV. The band and everyone else was heading to a party at Norma Jean's (the band) house.
But, no one could give us good directions, and we didn't feel like driving the length of North Druid Hills Road until we found this apartment. Ah well, would have been fun though.
And on that note, I am off to bed.

The Hierophant is basically someone who interprets divine or secret knowledge.
He is occasionally called the Pope card, since he carries connotations of conformity, orthodoxy, and structured religion.
But just like most of the Major Arcana, there is reverse side to the Hierophant. He may also represent questioning of previously held-beliefs, a search for greater truth, and those who enlighten others.
I refer to the card as "he" to underscore the point that the Hierophant is strongly associated with masculinity as well as any kind of authority figure: fathers, teachers, politicians, police, gurus, rich executives, etc.
As for the crossed keys that are usually portrayed crossed at his feet, those are a symbol of Saint Peter, the one man on Earth who was given the divine power to preside over the entire Church.
You know the guy who stands at the gates to heaven, the one with the big book, the one that your name has to be in if you want to get inside? That's Saint Peter.
Hope dat shit helps ya.
