tonight I learned an important lesson. apparently after several drinks I tend to talk more and tonight while at skafest in Ottawa I told one of the promoters that this was my birthday weekend. By the end of the night at least half of the people enjoying skafest wished me a happy birthday including the headlining band after their first song. At the end of the night I left the bar far drunker than I have been in quite a while and I am still not sure how I managed to walk from the bar to my house. Next year I need to remember to bring someone to protect me from myself and by drunken bad habits. I hope I will remember some of what happened tomorrow.
