I'm finally getting out of this godforsaken hellhole....maybe

I got the call...I'm flying out on the 15th for a working interview. I'm damn excited. I'm also slightly confused. The phone conversation started with "we'd like to offer you the job, and as part of that offer assist you with your relocation and living expenses for the first few months." The call progressed to "so come on out for an interview." It just seems a sort of backwards way of deciding things. We want you to work here, the job is yours, so come interview with us and we'll cover the expense of the interview as well? But I'm not complaining. I'm ecstatic. I'm terrified.
