Hey yall. Thanks for all the awesome birthday wishes. You guys rock. Im, wel, bored as hell to be totally honest. My social life has been reduced to going out for drinks after work with co-workers. Not that I can really complain, though I am. Theyre all great people and fun as hell, but I miss Texas. I cant believe Im saying it, but I do, I miss it.
Its lonely up here. I go to work, I go home, I go to sleep. Who knew I could become even more anti-social than I already was?
I have no idea how long Im staying up here for. I dont want to come back, but I also know that thus far my life is work up here, and that is only going to hold so much appeal for so long.
I actually made it back for a couple of days and got to see my family and friends, and it kicked ass. It was miraculous that I made it back up here, because I didnt want to come back.
As far as the job, its sweeet. Ive already gotten a raise and have a few more on the way. My rent is only $150 a month, and besides being terribly lonely, I cant complain. I miss all of ya, and damnit, more of you need to visit me. Not that I can even get time off to socialize, but ya know.
Anyhow, just thought Id pop by and say howdy. Hope youre all doing super
