i went to my very first goth club last night. it was a place out in newark called qxt's (i think). it was pretty cool. it was the marilyn manson "best of" record release party (meh) but it was also "asian invasion" night (yeh), and they were playing battle royale on the tv all night and my friend pete won $50 in the costume contest (he was just wearing a kada {sic?} robe and a straw hat) which he used to buy us all shots of malibu & jager (don't know what that's called). there's been weird stuff all weekend because one of my friends from school in the western MA of nothing came down and one of my other friends was freaking out because he's in love with our other friend, but he was convinced she was startin' something with my MA friend, but he swears there was nothing going on, but it didn't change the fact that i saw this kid smoke cigarettes for the first time since i've known him and drink like a fish on percoset because he's hung up over this girl. that's a damn long run-on sentence and it probably doesn't make any sense, but whatever. i plan on going back to the goth club on the 23rd to catch the "saw" movie release party, which should rock like dokken. i also get to go down the the NC mountains this coming weekend to visit family. should be fun. i'm going with the galpal. and speaking of things are going great. on thursday night she gave me a roman dirge "zombie bunny" as a "pre-halloween" present (i think i might be one of the only people in the world that gets pre-halloween presents). then yesterday before the goth club i went to k-mart and bought a bunch of decorations for the house that i need to set up soon. wow i'm rambling. anyway, i'm gonna go and watch the debate (tivo-ed from the other night), rip cds into my mp3 player like crazy for the trip this weekend, work on the script for my zombie movie short that i'm working on with some friends, and wait for the wifey to call me. awesome.
