okay, so i've been gone, but i'm back. school-work is a time sucking vampire. but all of the energy and life i lost writing really long papers has been completely regained as a result of bailey's most recent set. i think i'm in love....well, as much as possible from just seeing her sets on the site. but she does listen to glassjaw and that's amazing. worship and tribute definitely makes my top 10 list of the year. which by the way i'm going to write right now:

1)Distillers-Sing Sing Death House
2)Queens of the Stone Age-Songs for the Deaf
3)Atmosphere-Godlovesugly
4)Pretty Girls Make Graves-Good Health
5)Glassjaw-Worship and Tribute
6)The Flaming Lips-Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots
7)Onelinedrawing-Visitor
8)The Streets-Original Pirate Material
9)The Used-S/T
10)Bright Eyes-Lifted, or the Story's in the Soil, Keep Your Ear to the Ground

VERY Close Runners Up:
Blackaliscious-Blazing Arrow
Jurassic 5-Power In Numbers
Iron & Wine-Creek Drank the Cradle
Thrice-The Illusion of Safety
Sparta-Wiretap Scars
Taking Back Sunday-Tell All Your Friends
Hot Water Music-Caution
Dillinger Four-Situationist Comedy

Top Five EPs/Split CDs
1)Thursday-Five Stories Falling
2)AFI-336
3)Boysnightout-Broken Bones and Bloody Kisses
4)Alkaline Trio/Hot Water Music-Split
5)Cave In-Tides of Tomorrow

Sum 41-Does This Look Infected?
Avril Lavigne-Let Go (there's a girl that i have a crush on that has a very similar style {and she's been doing it for longer, so there tongue}, so i can't help thinking about her whenever i see that annoying little canadian)
Ludacris-"Saturday"

Most Anticipated Albums of 2003:

that's all i can think of right now. i'm sure there's plenty that i forgot, but my head has been filled with music for the last 3 days (yay working at a record store) and my brain is kind of cluttered. but anyways, i'm gonna go to bed. i've got work tomorrow. in the immortal words of everyone too cool for their own good, ciao. (that statement was so loaded with irony that it makes me want to cry...i don't think i'm cool enough to say ciao! frown )

p.s.-if anyone gives me shit about listing snoop dogg's new album right after tom waits', y'all just don't understand the way my brain works...oh, and don't even think about giving me shit about avril lavigne....like i said, it's a guilty pleasure.

(okay, i forgot to include this earlier, but i need to figure out how to resize pictures that i take with my dad's digital camera so that i can get myself a picture in my profile...if anyone can help me out, please let me know)
mora:
nice movie selection. i was margo tennenbaum for halloween. and its funny you mention the bike. that was one of my ideas. like a tribute to bike messengers. hehe
