i just discovered this acapella group from george washington university in dc called emocapella...they do acapella versions of songs like "cute without the e" by taking back sunday, "again i go unnoticed" by dashboard confessional, and "enjoy your day" by alkaline trio. they're entertaining but i wouldn't call them good. oh well. it was very anticlimactic...plus it's kind of distracting that the lead vocalist has problems staying in tune. 
and you know what else sucks? jets to brazil had to cancel their tour on account of illness. i wanted to go see them in northampton. oh well. if there's anything i've come to learn it's that you can't win 'em all. oh, and just so this entire entry isn't full of complaining, mat hoffman's pro bmx 2 kicks all sorts of bizootie. i lose complete track of time playing that game, and that's a very good thing. plus, iggy pop's "passenger" is on the soundtrack. that is most definitely the rad. rock on.
