finding a new apartment is a pain in my ass. when the price is right and the size is nice, they don't take pets. when they take pets, the place is too expensive, too small, too shitty, whatever. there's no middle ground. and now, as it stands, i've got all of about 2 1/2 weeks to find a place before i get kicked out of where i am now, and i need to be able to afford it and it needs to be within reasonable distance of both of my jobs. oh yeah, and i have to do all of that while i'm working two jobs. sheesh.

but enough complaining from me. finding a new place does mean i get to move in with my girlfriend, it means that we get to get a little black cat, and it means i get to save myself some money on rent, food, and utilities every month. it means a lot of good things. i just need june 1st to be here and to have all of the craziness associated with the process to be over already.

oh, and in reading through a back-log of issues, i've determined that A.P. started sucking completely right around late summer 2005. it had been going downhill before that, but i recently read the august 2005 issue and i'm currently reading the september 2005 issue, and when it's not boring me, it's pissing me off.

sadly, that's not going to stop me from reading it...
