but give me only truly alive woman
tonight
walking acros the floor toward me

"At first she thought she could kill him in three days.
She did nearly. His heart proved nearly unequal to her compliments.
Then she thought it would take three weeks. But he survived.
So she revised her tables and calculated three months.
After three years, he was still alive. So they got married.
Now they've been married for thirty years. People speak warmly of them....

"It has always been said that music releases or gratifies the emotions, but these emotions themselves have always been difficult to define. Their actual content seems to be only abstract opposition to prosaic existence. The greater the drabness of this existence, the sweeter the melody."

you know what's sad? i think i like planning parties more than i actually enjoy the party itself. there's just something about the excitement of thinking about how much fun it's going to be, but then when you're having fun and no one else is, it just kind of ends up as being a major let down. but regardless, my friends and i are having...

I'm in a similar position for my roommate's birthday party next weekend. It'll be a fun night once I've made all of her stupid friends dance to Kylie Minogue.

well, i had an interesting weekend. friday night i got really drunk and really wanted a cigarette, so i asked about 30 people i ran into before someone finally had one. saturday, i asked this girl (whom i just so happen to have a crush on) if she wanted to join me for dinner and was politely declined, for she already had plans with this...

yes, 'lullaby' is really very good. a lot of people say that they don't think chuck did very well with the character-development, but i thought it was fine. the ideas, yeah, they're horrifying, in that book. really good stuff. he's a genius, after all.

okay, so i've been gone, but i'm back. school-work is a time sucking vampire. but all of the energy and life i lost writing really long papers has been completely regained as a result of bailey's most recent set. i think i'm in love....well, as much as possible from just seeing her sets on the site. but she does listen to glassjaw and that's amazing....
