DAM! I just put 1,200 miles on my truck in two days!
Just got back from NC and man did I have alot of fun. The 10 hours I drove just flew by and the scenery was just beautiful. It had just rained and frozen on the trees.
The view was out of this world.
I got down there and met my friend and his wife. Then the next day he took me to the Biltmore House, the largest house in the USA. Bulit in 1895, this house is freaking HUGE.
Then later we went to saw some of the local waterfalls around the area. If you have seen The Last of the Mohicans, a good chunk of the waterfall scenes were filmed there.
And on the last night, I smoked some Cuban cigars while drinking a nice glass of Scotch, and rocking in a rocking chair overlooking the city.
I had a ton of fun, drank alot of Irish Ales that were on tap at a few bars.
Maybe I'll get to do it again, but next bring along a lovely lady so I can really enjoy it
