Speaking as a university professor for just a moment, the best advice I can give to you is to head on over to "Disabled student services" (or whatever your school happens to call it) and see what sort of resources are available for you. My own students have had my lectures video taped, audio taped, had notes taken by another student (who got paid for their effort, BTW) and I've even had a real time captioner in my classroom who does something like live subtitles on a screen as I'm speaking. All this for students who have difficulties with either reading, writing or general processing of the academic information. All universities are obligated to provide reasonable accomodations for people just like you so FEAR NOT, my love! The hardest part for some people is swallowing their pride and making that first call to disabled student services for their intake appointment. Lots of my students have ADD/ADHD, auditory processing problems, visual issues, you name it. They're all able to take advantage of a whole menu of services to help them along. You'll still have to do the work, mind you, but there are tools to make it easier for someone like you.

You've seen Spaceghost right? That's another fave Adult Swim toon of mine. I love that the animation is so basic. They used the same layout on every show, with only minor character animations. Sealab is also freakin' hilarious.
