happy friday everyone! finally at last! i know im glad, its been brutal at work and this heat wave isnt helping. its suppose to reach a 100 today. i went out once to goto the bank and i was soaked. so definitely not looking forward to work tonight but aftewards its bar time. my best friend is leaving tomorrow, he is in the Coast Guard, hes going to Alaska, ALASKA of all places! ha. he'll be gone for 3 years so were all gonna meet at the bar and farewell/goodluck drinks. ill miss him, known him all my life and when he got stationed home he helped with me alot of shit and plus we had alot fun and went places. so cheers to him!...
AND im actually shocked that i did not report about last weekend. i went to Atlantic City and saw the Orion festival which was Metallicas 2 day festival. it was AWESOME! it pretty much was an airport. only had one strip of concrete and the majority was grass, i loved it. yes i do have some hippie in me. lol. it was a good time, drinkin, smokin, layin in the grass. i missed the bands i wanted to see like, Black Tusk, Red Fang. i got see Suicidal Tendecies. there was a range of music there. so finally it was Metallicas time, they placed the whole Ride The Lightnin album but not straight through, they bounced around but it was still cool cause they normally dont play those songs. my fav was probably when they played "One", they had smoke and the war theme playin, then fireworks started exploding, it was killer!..i wanted to goto the 3nd show on sunday but alot of my friends didnt want to. and then outta nowhere my one friend wants to go so i got excited and of course it failed! i was bummed. i understand the drive and traffic but he made it positive we were goin. i had a feelin he was gonna wuss out but whatev, it was a good weekend! and hopefully this one will be too....
