Tonight I worked out with my personal trainer. He had me work on my back (with a couple of ab exercises - I almost always do at least 1 ab movement), which was good since I haven't worked it in a while.
Followed that up with 15 minutes on the step machine (stair master). I hate them, but my PT wants me to do at least 5 minutes on the step machine after every workout. Sometimes I'm an overachiever 😮!
After a protein smoothie (Chia Banana Max from Tropical Smoothie -- no sugar added), I did 15 rounds of cardio boxing. I decided to move up from Beginner, which I can almost do without missing a punch (last time I missed 2), to Semi-Pro (Intermediate). I think I tried it once a long time ago. I sucked, but I'll get better. I also put on the 16 oz. gloves instead of the 12 oz. gloves. And HOLY SHIT! My shoulders are exhausted and hurting! Especially the right one. FUCK! Good thing I don't bowl until Friday.
I also noticed that the 16 oz. gloves have an inspirational phrase where the fingers curl into the palm:
GREATNESS IS WITHIN
Here's the cardio boxing part of the workout...
Stay strong! Always remember that GREATNESS IS WITHIN you! There is something great inside each of us!
Stay Tuned...
