Yet another shooting rampage at Virginia Tech. So far, 22 people are dead and another 17 injured. The worst shooting in the nation's history. My heart goes out to all the families. It's a sick world kiddies, be careful out there.

Things are improving.......I cut back my hours at work, got a raise, and hopefully will have the recording studio set up in a few months. I just wish I could find some interesting friends around here to hang out with.

I'm hoping for some changes this year.....a new job, and starting to write and record music again. And hopefully meeting someone cute to hang out with

Once again work has decided to change our schedules, with less than 24 hours notice. The smug bastard that called the meeting said they can do it because Virginia is an "at will" state and they can make changes according to "business needs." They don't give a damn if anyone has a life or not. Virginia has to be the worst state to work in....

My nephew's heart stopped Thursday, and because of the company policy on mandatory overtime, I couldn't even go to the hospital to see him. They're releasing him from the hospital today, but I always worry about how much time he has left. Of course, the jerks at work don't care as long as their employees put them before family. I really want a new job!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely loving the new computer! Work is hectic, they've got me working 6 days a week, so I have no free time. I finally got a new computer! Now if I ever get any time off of work (stupid mandatory overtiming totalitarianistic fascist Nazi bastards), maybe I can start writing and recording music again! Well, I can always hope that I'll find a decent job, but in this area that's easier said than done. Hopefully soon I'll get DSL.....anyone have any recommendations?

It's been a very expensive week......my beautiful car (who I refer to as Wendy O) went to the mechanics this week. Not only do I have that bill hanging over me, but I'm also due for a new computer. I guess I'm going to have to suffer through some overtime. Yuck

I talked to my friend Frank last night who is recovering from Pneumonia. He played in Blue Ash and with Stiv Bators, and I'm happy to say he seems to be getting better.
I also saw my nephew this week which was great! Otherwise, life is still boring here in SW Virginia. I'm looking forward to hitting Ohio this summer and seeing all my friends...
