it's been a while since i did a blog. Maybe i should start doing more of there, but i spent almost all my time outside so it's kinda hard. x)
But here we go,
I move out of my parent's house in the start of July, which is pretty awesome because I found the perfect apartment that i split with 2 roommates. I'm glad to live here, I got everything I need, the groceries is like 5 min by foot. One of my friend told me that there is a public pool 2 blocks from where i live and there's a big park near by where my roommates initiate me the the world of slackline.
I just fell in love with that, it's a lot harder that you think and it make you work every muscle in you body to keep your balance. Learning how to control your body, your focus and your breathing is not and easy thing. After that we just went looking for new place where we could do our thing in peace and quiet and found an AMAZING place in Val-Bélair. I can't ever describe what i saw there, the river goes for about 2 miles. My friend and I decided to walk down the river to see where it would lead us. At some part i wen't without my stuff because we went swimming in some of part that we could. It took is about 4 hours to get down the bottom of the mountain and then the long walk back up haha but some of the places we went were magical. There is an aura that i can't explain like a place of peace and confort, it was so refreshing.
I went to a place called Lac-Vert, it was an old mines where they drilled groundwater so now the place is a big lake with awesome place to jump. Normally I'm the kind of guy who doesn't like high places and is a little scared of high places but I was able to jump of a cliff of 36 ft. It was CRAZY haha that adrenaline rush was awesome. I really want to return there soon with my brother and make him jump too.
After that in general my summer was nice i when to some new bars and met new people, my friend showed me a cool little jazz bar in old quebec that i really enjoyed. I met some a lot of travelers too, they were 2 who were danish and where making a trip around all of America they were starting in Canada after USA anfdthen South America. I met a couple of girls from Ohio, they were here for the summer to learn french. I met a group from Nelson in British Colombia they were traveling threw through the Canada, Man those were nice people.
I did love my summer but it's not finished yet ;)
How was yours ?
