This is murder, plain and simple. Premeditated in my opinion, as George Floyd cries out for air yet is completely ignored. Until those “police officers” got the silence they tried so hard to achieve. I see motive, I see hate crimes, I see that these “peace officers” using violence at every opportunity then kneeling on his throat until suffocation.
There hasn’t been an autopsy, but even if this isn’t just suffocation and another underlying condition caused his death; the underlying condition was most likely secondary, to kneeling on another humans windpipe for minutes on end.
These are the actions of officers who see themselves as judge, jury, and summary executioners. George Floyd’s death exposes yet another inequity in a system of justice where we are all, by constitutional law, innocent until proven guilty. But still officers are allowed leeway to make unilateral decisions on the life and death of innocent men and women every day.
George Floyd died, but how many other men and women have been harassed and put through this but walked away scathed but alive? Floyd is now silent forever, along with every other victim of police brutality that can’t receive justice due to fear and intimidation; Victims of ignorant, malicious cops and the insidious ‘blue wall of silence’ that maintains, and protects the status quo.
Justice in America is blind? It’s as blind as a black man, face down on concrete, gasping for air. His last moments of sight limited to a few inches of pavement. That’s the blind justice he received.
